What is the difference between 'Ready to book' and 'Need more information'?

For holiday homes offering the online booking service, you have two options: either book and pay online, or email the property owner/manager for more details.

 

Ready to book

This option lets you check the price and provisionally book by entering your payment details and pre-authorising a secure online payment. The property owner/manager will have 24 hours to accept your booking request – payment won’t be taken until the owner/manager accepts.

 

Need more information

If you’re not quite ready to book and have some questions, send the property owner/manager an e-mail.

They may respond with a quote: this confirms your holiday dates, gives you a breakdown of the costs and payment due date and allows you to pay securely online to confirm your booking.

Please note: wherever you see the Payment Protection logo, to be covered by the policy, you must pay online through our website.
