Because all TripAdvisor members can contribute to traveler articles, you may return to an article you edited to discover that the article is not the way you left it. This is part of the collaborative editing process!
Avoid getting involved in back-and-forth revisions (sometimes called revision wars) and continue to post the information you want to share. If another user edits or deletes content from the article that you feel is important, there are several ways to resolve the issue:
- First, go to the article's comments section to see feedback from other contributors. There may be an explanation for the changes that were made.
- Try to resolve any disputes with other reviewers
- If there are two conflicting schools of thought about a particular issue, the content on the page should explain the difference of opinion and both sides should be given equal space to make factual statements.
- You can also revert to an earlier version of the article to undo recent changes.
Please make sure your content meets our guidelines before you post it again.
