How do I turn off the Just for You feature?
You can turn off the Just for You feature by following these steps:
- Locate your name in the top right-hand corner of your browser window and select 'Profile' from the drop-down menu.
- On the left side of the page above the map, click on 'Your TripAdvisor' and choose 'Account Settings.'
- Find the bolded heading 'Just For You' near the bottom of the page and uncheck the box marked 'Show hotels ranked by Just for You.'
Once unchecked, you should see a 'Changes Saved' message appear to confirm the update.
How do I sort hotels using the Popularity Index?
The TripAdvisor Popularity Index ranks hotels according to the quality, quantity and recency of reviews and opinions on TripAdvisor. You can sort hotels using the Popularity Index by selecting Ranking in the the "Sorted by" menu.
